Freezer!

Let's say I buy a couple of fresh as a daisey logs today and I throw them in the freezer.

Freeze 'em damn cold solid!

How long are they going to stay as fresh as they are today?

A month....six months....a year.....what you guess?

I asked this same question to The Northerner.

They told me to keep Snus and Dip and smokeless in the refrigerator instead of the freezer.

If you freeze it; when it thaws out it can dry out and lose some of that good taste.

If unopened and kept in a cool dark place they have a shelf life for a fair bit anyway. Like most expiry dates they're a bit keen and a lot of sealed stuff lasts well beyond what's stated.
Put in the fridge after the expiry I'd think it would be good to long for a few months after.

I've seen a few people on YouTube who have these little compact fridges for their Snus but I'm going to go the fridge route.

The Northerner is always good for replies on this kind of stuff just in case you have a question.

On a side note I've had five orders form them (trying all different brands and flavors) and the total shipping costs...... are you ready?

Over $100.

But I found out that a heavy percent of that shipping is NOT the shipping but these foreign companies must pay all taxes required by the USA and the states as well before they ship.

Plus when I ordered a shipment on Tuesday night of this week it will arrive at my door from Sweden on Friday of this same week.

Yes..... I'll admit that you gotta love Snus to pay that much....but I love the stuff!

I think people take it too far if they buy the Montecristo fridge! We don't get loads of hot weather here so keeping things cool isn't too hard.
I'd still be buying it if they had a decent selection they were allowed to ship to the UK.
My first order was for about 20 types of portion snus, every time after that items got deleted at checkout due to shipping regulations.

Strange.....no items get removed from your cart ordered by USA customers.

Some states in the USA do not allow any shipments but for the rest of us you can order any of their selections.

Or just keep 'em cold and fresh (but not frozen) in the fridge and then you can keep 'em out.

My fridge fruit drawer is half full now. Another tip: before you put them in the fridge drawer (individually), seal them in a plastic food container (I use Glad) and that is just another extra layer for prolonged freshness.
