Try putting it in further back or on top. I was having a little soreness when I first started but I blamed it on the wintergreen and it went away when I switched

Honestly, in my 27 years of dippin, dippin wintergreen full time tears my gums up. Stoker's LC Natty does too because it's so salty. I mainly dip Grizzly Snuff and Stocker's LC Natty. I pack 2 lips of Grizz Snuff in between each lip of Stoker's LC I pack. I have no lip/gum/mouth problems. Most of the guys I know that complain of lip/gum soreness dip wintergreens and mints on a daily basis. If you're just starting out... try using some pouches for healing time. Using pouches doesn't make you a "pussy". Hope you find your comfort zone, bro. Move it around like Dan said... don't dip in the same spot all the time.
