This past weekend North Texas got hit by a ice/winter storm. Well, considering Texas isnt really perpared for such wather, it shut down almost everything!! Yeah, I couldnt believe it. But, being the dipper n family man, i had to brave the roads for more dip, and food. Hey, we need dip an we needed food, ya'll can't stop a man for those 2. Right? WRONG, once i got to the store, almost all the damn food was OUT. Not being a boy scout i didnt stock up on Thursday. So, i went out Friday, and again on Sunday. The roads werent all that bad, so i couldnt figure out why the freeways were shut down, until i drove on them, MONDAY. The bridges were still barely passable. Texas people were so out of shorts with the ice, they invited a new term for it, cobblestone ice. Really?? On well, i made it to work, and honestly still cant figure out why the freeways were taken care better, any help from ya'll???
