The myth about dip in Canada

Yes, Canadian dip is $25.00 a can, $24.79 to be exact. Another thing, you can only buy Copehagen and skoal up here, and occasionally find redman chew. It sucks to live here sometimes.

For example, how much is a can of coke? Litre of petrol?

Can of dip from the northener is about £3 for me. About the same as 6 cans of coke and 2 ish litres of petrol.

Tony, A can of coke is about $1.50 and for a litre of gas right now is $1.04, it's about $150.00 to fill my tank in my gm. And Colorado, it does suck extremely, Canadian dip is shit. I always get friends or family to bring me back some whenever they go to the states. Most of the money that you pay for dip or even alcohol goes to tax.

Yeah. I dip about a tin to a tin and a half a day, so it gets expensive.

I'm not sure about this but I'd guess that it costs Copenhagen less than a dollar to produce a single can.

In fact that could be way on the high side. Maybe it's more like .50 cents a can.

But that doesn't really matter: it's what it costs the consumer......wherever it's sold!

I can see a day (given the fight against tobacco) where it'll cost $25.00 and even more a can, in the USA.

At that point we'll start separatin' the men from the boys.
